Kill Dil is an upcoming Hindi romantic action film directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film will star Govinda, Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra and Ali Zafar in the lead roles. Govinda is going to play a negative role in the film. The film is scheduled to release on November 14, 2014.

The naming of the film was inspired by the 2003-2004 Hollywood film series Kill Bill. The film is going to be directed by Shaad Ali.

Casting

Shaad Ali described Kill Dil as "a film about the tricks the heart plays on an unsuspecting victim of love. Ranveer is pukka for the male lead." There were reports that Deepika Padukone would be playing the female lead. However, it was later officially declared that Parineeti Chopra had signed to do that role. Govinda will be doing the role of the antagonist in this film. Ali Zafar will be playing the role of a Kanpuriya boy.

Filming

Early on in February 2014, many shots of the movie are taken in Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida and also at Grand Venice Greater Noida . Ranveer Singh and Govinda share the dance floor in the movie. Through March the film was shot at various locations in Delhi. Later in April 2014, a schedule of the film with leads Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra was shot at Lavasa in Maharashtra.

The first poster of Ranveer Singh's much-awaited film 'Kill Dil' is out and the actor is seen sporting a different look in the poster. Wearing a denim shirt teamed up with a pair of jeans and a leather jacket, Ranveer looks like the Akshay Kumar of 90s with his quintessential hairstyle of that era.
